Hanok Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS)

By using our virtual desktop service ("Hanok"), you agree to the following terms:

1. Personal Use & Responsibility

  • Your virtual desktop is for your personal or professional use only.
  • You are fully responsible for all activity within your assigned environment.
  • You must not share access credentials with others.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Hanok for:

  • Illegal activities (e.g. torrenting, distributing copyrighted or malicious content)
  • Hacking, scanning, or exploiting network services
  • Cryptocurrency mining
  • Overloading or interfering with system performance

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

3. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

  • We store only the minimum personal data required to deliver the service (e.g. your email for account management).
  • Your desktop data is isolated, and we do not access your session unless strictly required for support or security.
  • Data is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • You may request data access or deletion at any time.

4. Billing & Subscription

  • Billing is handled via Stripe on a monthly basis.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
  • Prices are listed in EUR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Refund Policy

  • Due to the digital nature of the service, no refunds are offered after a billing cycle has started.
  • If you experience issues, please contact support, we’ll do our best to resolve them promptly.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these terms
  • Your usage poses a security or stability risk
  • You fail to maintain a valid payment method
